Christmas Morning

I am finally getting to editing the photos from Christmas morning.  There were so many great photos, it was hard to narrow it down.  This year each child got one big present and a few small gifts.  Nathan set up the bigger gifts ahead of time which helped Christmas morning be a lot less hectic.

The kids woke up and were ready to go!  They were so excited to run down the stairs and see their surprises!

Cooper got the Special Edition Nintendo DSi XL with Mario Kart.  He was really wanting a new DS since his last one got broken by his little sisters and brother.  We also got him a Nerf case to protect it.  He got the Lego Battles game, some Lego sets and a few other items.  He was very excited!

Kindle got a Giddy Up n’ Go Pony.  She had really been wanting one and is so excited she has been riding it all day everyday.  She also got a Lulu My Walking Kitten, Melissa and Doug Magnetic Dress up Dolls and some other items.  She was thrilled with her gifts too.

Grant couldn’t have been more thrilled with his big Christmas gift, a Kawasaki Power Wheel.  He couldn’t stop grinning.  It was adorable.  He also got a Toy Story Lego set, a Batmobile and some other gifts.  He was very excited!

I was so blessed because I actually won Celeste’s big gift, a Guidecraft doll bunk bed, through a blog giveaway a couple of months ago.  She also got a pair of twin dolls and a twin stroller.  Her other bigger gift was a Tinkerbell scooter.  She thinks she is super big because she now has a scooter like her older sister and brothers.  Of course, I couldn’t get her to smile for the camera for any of the pictures.  She was too busy playing with her toys.

Gunnar didn’t really have a clue what all the excitement was about.  He was just all smiles and happy to be with his family.  He is such a sweetie!  He got a wooden activity cube.  He also got some books, a Duck Shake and Chime ball and some other gifts.  He, of course, thought the wrapping paper looked tasty and quickly changed his mind after he got it in his mouth :)

My parents, brother and grandmother all came by to see the gifts the kids got.  The children are always excited to see them!

All of the children also got umbrellas from Kidorable.  It was perfect because it started snowing Christmas morning.  The kids went outside and enjoyed the snow using their umbrellas.

In case you are wondering, Nathan and I got our Christmas gifts a bit early.  He gave me a flash for my camera that was used to take these photos and a new lens for my camera.  I got him some recording equipment since he is working on a new album.  We also got each other a new Dyson vacuum.

Christmas was so wonderful this year.  The kids said “we got everything we wanted”.  It was so much more relaxed and enjoyable.  I feel so blessed and thankful!
